  • Member of Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee 2006-present
  • Chair of the Lick Creek Park Advisory Sub-Committee 1997-1998
  • Member of the Land Dedication Ordinance Revision Sub-Committee 1997-1998 and 2006-2007
  • Member of the Streetscape Review Sub-Committee 2006

  • Centrally involved in:
    • launching the College Station Soccer Club in mid-1970s;
    • launching Kids Klub (the city’s after-school program) in mid-1980s;
    • development of the Indoor Natatorium at Rock Prairie Junior High School;
    • attracting the Arctic Wolf Ice Center to College Station;
  • Voluntarily developed the first strategic plan for Lick Creek Park, 1992
